Description

Located in North West Wales, Gwynedd, named after the old Kingdom of Gwynedd, was a kingdom from the end of the Roman period until the 13th Century when it was conquered and subjugated by England.


Much like the neighbouring region of Anglesey, Gwynedd, with a cool climate and often mountainous terrain, produces many wines made from German varietals such as Madeleine Angevine, Phoenix, Seyval Blanc and Rondo are popular in this region.
